They have analyzed the billions of queries that were typed into Google over the year to give us a glimpse of 2010 as seen through the lenses of Google searches.
Hot topics for Russian Internet users this year became policy (in particular, the change of the mayor of Moscow), sports (Olympics and World Cup) and online services. It is interesting that five of the 10 fastest-growing requests – this is social networking.
They say in World Cup year and elections in Brazil stops. But is this true? Well, that’s not what we have seen, at least not in the Brazilian Internet.
