Job searching is like a paid advertising – you invest in your Headline, Description, and Display URL you get a bunch of impressions and finally you get a conversion in this case a possible interview. “Yes I am claiming this quote”
Just like a PPC Ad your text must be direct and targeted. It is important to include practical information for potential employers,while at the same time bring their attention to features that differentiate yourself from other candidates. If potential employers search resumes with the chosen keywords in their listing, they can check the level of competition for those keywords. A campaign’s resume success or failure depends largely on the quality, target, and keywords of your resume.
Resume Structure in a PPC Anatomy
A) Structuring your resume is crucial for effective impressions/viewings. Characteristics of excellent account structure follows. An Excellent account structure should be grouped according to Job Description, Job Title, and Geography. Each group should contain multiple Ad Groups with specific keywords that will catch the attention of the employer. For example, a campaign/resume for an ‘SEM account manager’ position should have separate Ad Groups for ‘Search Engine Marketing’ and ‘client development’.
